Taipei Day 5 (Donki, Syntrend)

I woke up at an ok time today but was really tired, so I just stayed home for the morning. 姨媽 cooked me 蛋餅 for breakfast. Yummy, thank you~

姨媽 took me to buy lunch which was coldnoodles liangmian, and took me on her moped. The stall is cute, and then we went to 7-11 to pay a donation (you can do this?!).

Noodles were yummy, and I rested for a bit more, while 姨媽 put on a fah-shi teaching buddhist scriptures on TV. He explains things pretty plainly and speaks very gently. 姨媽 took a snooze and I eventually left to go to Donki just after 2pm. I wanted to go to the Chiang-Kai Shek Memorial Hall but I was pretty walked out so didn't want to do more walking.... as the grounds are pretty big. So Donki it is. There's a bus, 298 that goes straight there. Hooray! Less changing transport. It stops at Taipei Technology University. I walked through the uni and saw a cute small red building.

Donki was reasonably busy, this would have been 3:50pm ish. I didn't find any suitable primer or foundation for make up, and ended up buying some tabi socks, Black Thunder snacks, period pads (which I need), and GungunGurt. I really took my sweet time in Donki.

Then I decided to look at the Pili store as well, in Syntrend. They had a Haikyuu collab thing in a store on the ground floor. I didn't realise they had closed down the Taipei Pili store, and there is now a Rashinban there, which I was surprised to find. However their stuff is unlabelled (no series names) under the general shelves which is chaotic and I didn't spend too long there. I had a look at the other stores, and the Kotobukiya store had a Mon Hun 20th figure display. The Anime Café has a collab thing going on for Hikaru no Go.

Once I was done it was time to head home. I decided to take the 298 but when I got to the stop it sais 36 mins instead of like 10 mins. I googled a live tracker website for Taipei bus and it seems like there really is no bus for the 6:15pm bus. Soooo.... I guess it's walk to the MRT station and get on the Wenhu Line. When I got to the escalators for the MRT station, I farted and suddenly needed to go. So mad walk to the toilet (why is it so far away!?) and had a really long poop there. It was the more watery kind. It was also super hot in the bathroom and you can hear the railroad noise when a train goes past. I wonder if it's the Blis K12 that's making me poop so much... I have been taking a double dose instead of the daily 1 dose.

Rush hour at the MRT

Finally, better. Off to the MRT and then the 530 bus home. I was pretty hunry when I got to Wangfang. 表哥 was home but ready to take the kids to music class. So left pretty much as soon as I got home. I had dinner, and it was yum yum yum. There was scrambled eggs with spring onion and prawn, wong bok, salmon, braised pork, spinach, and yellow garlic shoots with pressed tofu.

Had a chat with 表嫂 after dinner, he likes Ambroisa apples and we just had a talk about the geography around Aus and NZ lol. I couldn't find out if NZ waxes their apples, sadly. He likes to eat the skin. I will just rest after dinner as tomorrow there is the Bahamut ACG event and I will see Dark H and Knuckles again!!
