I was smashed from yesterday so got up late and went out for breakfast at 10am. Amis 美味活力早午餐 was open so I went there. Open store front style so I ate in.
The lady who took my order had a brain dumb moment with maths and gave me $50 change instead of $90 loooool she figured it out though.
I got a honey French toast, lobogao, and hash pops, fresh milk tea. The hash pops were so good. Crisp crunchy non greasy. The French toast great - man I destroyed my enamel 2 nights ago getting blueberries from 7-11 that were sooooo sour. The lobogao I'm not a fan, there's shallots inside and also in the soy sauce gao... My tea was lukewarm. Did they have warm tea and added cold milk?
While I was eating I could hear the staff bantering and cracking jokes. Awww.
Once done I put my dishes in the recycling station and went back home.
So I just rested and blogged into about 2pm... Where I finally finished.
I had a look at where to get some lunch and by the time I decided and got there to get 抄手, it was 3pm.
The chaosho was very nice, I added some of the chilli from the breakfast place and holy shit was it hot!!! The chaosho themselves were good too and I could have actually ate more... I had some of the lemonade diluted to drink.
After resting some more it was about 4:15pm time to go to Dondamen again. I cycled and stopped at the post shop to get some stamps. Then onto the Railway Museum, but when I got there it was past 5pm and it was closed! The grounds were open though.
I had a look around and they also had stamps too so I did that.
Then onto Dondamen. A I parked my bike and walked down but the info stall was closed, so decided to eat dinner first at a busier stall.
I got egg tomato $150, and they gave me the rice $20 first but the dish took a while to come so the rice was could... The egg tomato was good but the more I ate the more it was too rich for me! I'm pretty sure they added onions in as well as the green onions we can see. It was also on the sweeter side... I ended up admitting defeat and had 2/3 of the dish and really struggled to finish my rice.
Once done I left and got my bike and went to the info stall to get my stamps.

There was a 80 Yr old uncle there manning the booth and he chatted to me and said that he's a good friend of my Minsu host Mr Yeh. He also mentioned that I'll start to feel different interactions and conversions in about 10 yrs or so and start feeling big changes agyer 35 (coming from life experience he said). I can see where he is coming from for sure.
Spent about 30 mins chatting to him before I left to go grab the sand art in a bottle from the stall I saw last night and look around 自強夜市2區. The stall owner tried to convince me to get the bigger one but it was out of my budget. I got a small one with a farmhouse pattern on it for $1500.
Then next door was a canvas painting gallery shop. They have DIY kits where they give you the paint and brushes and the canvas has lines and numbers and you just follow the numbered pots. I got one with a act that looks kinda like Rii (the closest as I could find) for $250 as a gift for Lennon.
Then there was an antiques store with fine China, and silver spoons with the emblem on the tip of the handle ones. Various glassware too. The owner just startes talking about a conspiracy theory?! About alien civilizations and 100% metal mineral and whatnot? I had no idea what he was talking about, probably to the radio that he was listening to earlier but I wasn't.
I had to excuse myself to leave cause I only have limited time before I needed to head back. It was about 8:30pm now.
All The stall owners I talked to mentioned that the crows/tourist situation is like peak pandemic years again. I really feel for them.
I had a look at the other DIY stalls and didn't see anything suitable. The game stall with the batsugame of a electricfying stick and path, was having customers and one person managed to clear the whole round! I only saw the last part but his hands were so steady.

After that time to head home. I ran into a park with military weapons! So I had to stop and take photos, at the very least.
Then it took me about 25 mins to cycle home with getting lost.
Sleep, and tidy up luggage before bedtime.
