Today I rested in the morning. Nothing was open and 姨媽 went out to get breakfast for me while I was pooping... I was going to go with her. She ended up getting me McD's when she realised that it was Sunday.
I just vacuumed the floor and took a haul photo of 江湖一聚 event, and finished blogging.
I also had a papaya. It was so aromatic and it had no seeds!
After I finished blogging, I then I helped 姨媽 dye her hair using a konbu based dye. I combed it in.
And then 表姐夫 decided to try as well and I applied it for him. Since his hair was so short it was easy.
It was almost 3pm and I decided to go to the 北門郵局博物館 since G maps said it was open and less busy today. I took a 660? Bus there and snoozed on the bus.
When I got there I understood that Gmaps said it was less busy was because in the same building, they also have an actual post office. And that's closed today.
On the way there I stopped at a noodle shop and got a bowl of sauce noodles as I was quite hungry now... $55 for the bowl and an egg.
They didn't have a toilet the public can use so I went to the museum and they didn't have one too. So I had to walk across the block to go to 7-11 and use theirs. The ppm in the bath was so bad it was almost 2000ppm...
Once done it was back to the postal museum. They have so many stamps! And a Bugcat Capoo collab.
I think the DIY stamps room was closed today. Awww.
When I was stamping they had a stamp rally event on and there was a guy and a girl coincidentally stamping as well and they told me about the event. She added me on Line and I told her that MRTs have stamps too. I showed her my stamp book and she showed me hers, which was a small square one.
They said one of the scavenger hunt locations close at 5pm so you should go there first! I thanked them and finished up at the postal museum. I bought a set of 6 postcards for $120 of the historical post boxes, and the cards are embossed.
I opened up Maps and ended up selecting the wrong set of the scavenger hunt... (there are 3 sets).
I got to 中山堂 and realised my mistake. Then someone saw me at the stamp and told me there is a postal stamp exhibit upstairs that ends at 5pm.
So I went up and asked if they still had ink stamps available? The guy at the counter said I need to buy postage stamps for $40 and then he can stamp for me. I didn't really understand but did it anyway, and the postage stamps were Capoo ones. He asked where I wanted to stick the stamps, and I said in my book. I understood now, he framped the stamps as if they were being mailed. They were packing up and I left and thanked them as not to hold them up. I went to the right set of scavenger Hunt map locations, and picked one that was still open which was Mitsui & Co. Historical Warehouse. On the way I popped into Animate first but it was busy as. The ppm was 2000+...
When I got to Mitsui & Co they had the stamp rally one and more! I ended up staying there a while looking at the info and the little beer exhibit upstairs. Then ended up having something from the café as it was really quiet, and it was 6:20pm now.
I ordered a set of historical building 雞蛋糕 and a Jinshuan tea. The staff mentioned that they close soon so I might be a bit hurried. That's OK, I can takeaway the leftovers I can't finish in time. They gave me a box pack just in case but I ended up finishing the whole lot so returned it.
I only realised the buildings were different front and back when I reached the last one. Fhfhsjakfjf

I finished just 2 mins before 7pm and then decided to go and finish browsing at the Underground Mall.
I ended up seeing the Zelda desk mat for $180 at a game shop, rip. Oh well. $300 was a reasonable price. I am doomed to be like this at the underground mall - find a thing, buy it, and then find for cheaper at a diff store.
